Sandra Lindon is an accredited Journey practitioner and had come to spend three weeks at Hill Breeze orphan Support school. During this time, she was assisting [...] September was another busy month for us at Holistic Community. The week is getting fuller with activities. Tuesdays and Thursday we continue our Yogatoto sessions at the Nairobi Children home. On Wednesdays we are at Sadili Sports academy in the morning and in the afternoon at the Nairobi Remand home on Lower Kabete. We feel [...] During the month of August, Holistic Community was involved in new ventures of taking yoga to new avenues. Our founder Fazilah Bazari was a guest speaker at the American Kenya Health and Wellness conference which took place on the 5th August 2011. She was giving a talk on the need for exercises and the benefits [...] The month of July was a slow one for us at Holistic Community Kenya. We didnt travel upcountry for the programs there. Just like last month, our focus was towards the Goverments children rehabilitation centres in Nairobi. We are in the process of working with two more such institutions namely Kirigiti girls rehabilitation school and [...] The Day Of The African Child Our June outreach work was mainly focused in Nairobi. This month saw us busy working with the Nairobi children home and the Kabete remand center.
