Yoga nidra means the union in sleep. It is a wonderful experience of conscious sleep that helps you to experience relaxation not only physically and mentally, but also at a deep cellular level. The practice will take you through rotation of awareness in your various body parts, the experience of opposites and a process of visualisations. It is a great practice if you have trouble sleeping at nights or falling back to sleep, if you suffer from insomnia, if you are physically and mentally stressed and tired. It also helps people who are recovering from illness. All you have to do is lie down and follow the instructions. You will awake feeling revitalized and a body full of energy and life!
